Synopsis:

Krishna Vamsi made a spectacular directorial debut through this Varma Creations - Amitabh Bachhan Corporation Ltd (erst while) co-production. Gulabi also heralded Ram Gopal Varma's entry into film production and laid the foundation for his new famed FACTORY.

Gulabi was a rage with the youth when it was first relesed in year 1995. Music by Shashi Preetam still haunts the young hearts and the young at hearts alike. J.D. Chakravarthy made his debut as the lead man, while Maheswari walked away with accolades for a memorable performance as a bubble, naughty, lovable girl caught in a vicious trap.

Songs like the peppy Beat in My Heart.... the melodious Ee Velalo Neevu... (What could you be doing at this time) and Ee Rojaithe Choosano Ninnu.... (The moment I've seen you....) just make this film a compelling buy and a collector's DVD.
